Please read these terms and conditions carefully as you will be bound by them. A contract between you and Brindleys will come into existence upon the date upon which you book a room with us.
Our standard check-in times are between 14:00 - 19.00 hours. If you wish to arrive before 14.00, we will do our best to arrange for your room to be ready or hold your luggage until your room is ready. If you are likely to arrive after 19.00 hours, you will be able to use our key-safe facility. Please ask us for details. Our latest check-out time is 11.00am.
Rooms may be reserved online with a valid credit or debit card. Please note that we do not accept infants or children under 12 and our maximum occupancy per room is 2 persons. Regrettably no pets are allowed.
Standard bed & breakfast rate – payment terms: We will charge the full price of your booking to the card you provided with your reservation 3 days before your arrival date, once you are inside our cancellation policy period. Should you make a booking less than 3 days before your arrival, we will charge your card at the point of booking. If your card is declined, please be aware that your booking will be cancelled.
We regret we have had to introduce this policy due to an unsustainable rise in the number of last minute cancellations and invalid credit/debit card details being provided by guests. We also reserve the right to pre-authorize your card 5 days or less ahead of your arrival date.
Advance Purchase Rate bookings: Payment is due in full at the point of booking and all payments are non-refundable. Once booked, booking dates are not modifiable.

A minimum 2-night stay is required at weekends (a “weekend” includes a Friday or Saturday night).
Children over the age of 12 are welcome. We do not accept infants or children under 12. Regrettably no pets are allowed.
Each of our rooms has a maximum occupancy of 2 persons.
Confirmation of your booking will be sent by email subject to your providing a valid email address.
To secure a group booking we require valid credit/debit card details and a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total booking cost. If the whole or part of a group booking is cancelled less than seven days ahead of the due arrival date, 100% of the cost (less the deposit) will be charged to your card.
Cancellations must be made by email ([email protected]) or telephone (+44 (0) 1225 310444) and then confirmed by email at least 72 hours prior to your planned arrival date to receive a refund of any payment previously made.
If you cancel less than 72 hrs before your due date of arrival or fail to arrive at the hotel ('no show'), we will charge your card with 100% of the value of your booking.
We recommend guests ensure they have valid travel insurance in place in case of the need to cancel your booking.
For group bookings, if the whole or part of a group booking is cancelled less than seven days ahead of the due arrival date, 100% of the cost (less the deposit) will be charged to your card.
In the event of bad weather conditions, flooding, plague, desease or any act of God,Brindleys will fully apply our cancellation policy, as above.
Room rates shown on our website are per room, per night and include breakfast and taxes. Room rates are subject to change. Prices are quoted inclusive of any VAT payable.
We are required by law to maintain a register of our guests. Residents of the United Kingdom and/or the European Union shall on check-in provide full names and addresses. All other guests must on check-in produce and provide details of a valid passport and details of their next destination. You agree that we may retain this information for 12 months.
Special offers are subject to availability and only valid at time of booking. Bookings must be made on the Brindleys website or by calling the hotel. Existing bookings and 3rd party bookings are not eligible for special offers or rates and offers cannot be combined. No eceptions will be made.
The council now charge £17.10 per day for on-steet parking by our B&B per day. On arrival if you have not booked with parking included, we will take payment from you should you want to park your car. For each day paid for, Parking is valid from 12 midday for 24 hours. Altthough we cannot guarantee a parking space as it is for on-street parking in our experience there have always been spaces available. Cars and their contents are parked entirely at the car owners' risk. For the avoidance of doubt we can only give parking for one vehicle per room.
We reserve the right to make a charge of up to £250 for any damage caused to a room by a guest, including damage caused by a spillage or vomiting sickness.
Brindleys is a strictly non-smoking establishment. Should you smoke in your room, our state-of-the-art fire system will trigger and we will charge a housekeeping fee of £100.00 to your card.
Brindleys reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate without notice an individual’s stay at Brindleys where deemed necessary.
