Please read these terms and conditions carefully as you will be bound by them. A contract between you and Brindleys will come into existence upon the date upon which you reserve a room with us.
Our standard check-in times are between 14:00 - 19.00 hours. If you wish to arrive before 14.00, we will do our best to arrange for your room to be ready or hold your luggage until your room is ready. If you are likely to arrive after 19.00 hours, you will be able to use our key-safe facility. Please ask us for details. Our latest check-out time is 11.00am.
Rooms may be reserved online with a valid credit or debit card. Full payment is due on departure or become payable to us in accordance with our “Cancellations” policy (see below). Payment on departure can be made by credit/debit card or cash.
We reserve the right to pre-authorise your credit/debit card 5 days or less ahead of your arrival date.
A minimum 2-night stay is required at weekends (a “weekend” includes a Friday or Saturday night).
Children over the age of 12 are welcome. We do not accept infants or children under 12. Regrettably no pets are allowed.
Each of our rooms has a maximum occupancy of 2 persons.
Confirmation of your booking will be sent by email or post subject to your providing a valid email or postal address.
To secure a group booking we require valid credit/debit card details and a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total booking cost. If the whole or part of a group booking is cancelled less than seven days ahead of the due arrival date, 100% of the cost (less the deposit) will be charged to your card
Cancellations must be made by email ([email protected]) or telephone (+44 (0) 1225 310444) and then confirmed by email at least 72 hours prior to your planned arrival date to receive a refund of any payment previously made.
If you cancel less than 72 hrs before your due date of arrival or fail to arrive at the hotel ('no show'), we will charge your card with 100% of the value of your booking.
We recommend guests ensure they have valid travel insurance in place in case of the need to cancel your booking.
For group bookings, if the whole or part of a group booking is cancelled less than seven days ahead of the due arrival date, 100% of the cost (less the deposit) will be charged to your card.
In the event of bad weather conditions, Brindleys will fully apply our cancellation policy, as above.
Room rates shown on our website are per room, per night and include breakfast, parking and taxes. Room rates are subject to change. Prices are quoted inclusive of any VAT payable.
We are required by law to maintain a register of our guests. Residents of the United Kingdom and/or the European Union shall on check-in provide full names and addresses. All other guests must on check-in produce and provide details of a valid passport and details of their next destination. You agree that we may retain this information for 12 months.
Special offers are subject to availability and only valid at time of booking. Bookings must be made on the Brindleys website or by calling the hotel. Existing bookings and 3rd party bookings are not eligible for special offers or rates and offers cannot be combined. No eceptions will be made.
We provide complimentary parking permits to guests, strictly subject to availability. Whilst we are able to provide a parking permit, we cannot guarantee a parking space as it is for on-street parking. Cars and their contents are parked entirely at the car owners' risk.
We reserve the right to make a charge of up to £250 for any damage caused to a room by a guest, including damage caused by a spillage or vomiting sickness.
Brindleys is a strictly non-smoking establishment. Should you smoke in your room, our state-of-the-art fire system will trigger and we will charge a housekeeping fee of £100.00 to your card.
Brindleys reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate without notice an individual’s stay at Brindleys where deemed necessary.
